About Whispering Grove

Embracing nature, fantasy, and all things creative, Whispering Grove was founded in 2024 by Jess Taylor-Calhoun. Previously known as a writer of literary fiction under "Jess Taylor", Jess Taylor-Calhoun found herself drawn to making jewelry that reflected the worlds where she felt the most creative and inspired: beautiful landscapes and dreamscapes.

Originally from Caledon, Ontario, and spending most of her time growing up on a property that backed onto a bird sanctuary, Jess was always surrounded by nature during her formative years. A yearning for artistic exploration drew her to multiple art forms: visual arts, music, poetry, and fiction. Recently, Jess chose to focus on jewerly making as her outlet for visual arts and craftmaking, hoping to share her vision of a society that celebrates and protects nature. 

Materials used are gemstones, metal charms, glass beads, metal wire, cord, and elastic. 

Whispering Grove frequently has live shows on Poshmark live (Canada only) and visits craft shows around Ontario. We ship to Canada, the USA, and select regions in Europe with the hope of expanding to worldwide shipping later this year.
